Certified Farmers Market Fresh Pick of the week: Organic Grape Juice

Bela Juice, makers of Bella Organic Grape Juice has joined the Certified Farmers’ Market and is bringing their delicious grape juice to all three market locations.

Bella Organic Grape Juice is made of premium wine grape and other varietals from the San Joaquin Valley. The Syrah and Thompson seedless grapes used in the grape juice are grown on owners John, Joe and Jerry Coelho’s family-owned Laton and Lemoore ranches. The Rubired grapes used in the juice comes from Golden Valley Grape juice's ranch in Earlimart, and the French Colombard grapes come from the Paul Singh farm in Caruthers. Someday the Coelho family hopes to grow all or most of the grapes used in their certified organic grape juice.

Did you know: Grape phytochemicals, such as resveratrol, found in grape juice, have been linked to inhibiting cancer, heart disease, degenerative nerve disease, viral infections and Alzheimer's disease. It also has antifungal properties.

Price: Sold in various sizes of glass bottles, from $2.50 to $8.00

This organic grape juice tastes great ! It is very powerful and can even be diluted with sparkling water or plain water. I make a non-alcoholic drink with it.
8 oz of Bela organic grape juice
1 frozen lemon cube ( I made these from juicing full lemons and putting them in ice cube trays - I made a lot, so they are in a freezer bag in my freezer).
fill the rest up with sparkling water.

I love the frozen lemon cube idea...that sounds so refreshing!! I can't believe all the goodies you guys have avaiable in your markets. Things are barely getting started here.
